China Provinces Travel Pictures and Information
Hainan, Guangxi Provinces of China
China provinces number 23, counting Taiwan, which handles its own affairs. Large cities like Beijing and Shanghai are treated like provinces of China, but in fact are municipalities.
Hainan, Guangxi Provinces of China When I traveled to south China provinces of Guangxi China, a Special Autonomous Region (SAR) that borders Vietnam, and to Hainan province, the youngest of the Chinese provinces, located on its own island off China's south coast, I finally felt I was seeing the Real China. Enjoy your trip!
China Provinces, Municipalities, Special Autonomous Regions
Hong Kong, although it is a large municipality, is not actually one of the provinces of China, but rather a Special Administrative Region (SAR), as is Macau. But no matter what the designation, traveling outside the large cities to the Chinese provinces adds a new dimension to any Chinese tour.
Nanning is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang; Haikou, the capital of Hainan province. I've posted a few pages of my pictures of Nanning, and nearby China attractions like the Guangxi Caves, and the Nanning zoo and parks.
