Find hotels, flights for Snapshot Journeys destinations
Although I usually include information about hotels, attractions and reviews on specific city pages on Snapshot Journeys destinations, I have also put together a list of them here according to country; Links go to Trip Advisor, a travel web site that many of you likely know. If not, here's a fast way to check out hotels, attractions, hotel reviews by other travelers, travel deals and discounts, and other types of accommodations. See Timeshares information (left, menu).
I've used TripAdvisor for a number of years now to get information about hotels attractions and reviews before I travel. I suggest that read several reviews for each hotel you are considering, since each traveler can have a quite different experience.

What to do About Bad Hotel Reviews ~ Use your own judgement :-)Only once have I ever switched hotel reservations before travel due to a few bad reviews, and I was sorry I had. The hotel I changed TO was being renovated and I was given one of the sad, old rooms; the hotel I changed FROM had already been renovated and was quite delightful. So I shot myself in the foot on that one! Consider these hotel reviews a travel planning tool only. Many links will at least show a photo of the hotel and rooms, and this alone can help set your mind at ease. |
