Travel to BC Canada : British Columbia is Canada's westernmost province, and some say its most beautiful!

From Pacific Coast and islands, to soaring mountains and inland lakes, it's hard to prove otherwise. One thing B.C. lacks is Maple Syrup trees. Maple syrup production is in eastern Canada provinces, like Ontario and New Brunswick.

Port Hardy, Telegraph Cove, Powell River, Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast: Here's some travel information and pictures of these West Coast and Vancouver Island communities to whet your travel appetite.

Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island is a mecca for RVers and travelers to Prince Rupert on the northern B.C. mainland, and for fishermen from all over the world.

Northern Vancouver Island also has a lot of black bears, and brown bears . . .  so learn to whistle loudly while you walk, and carry a loud bell :-)

This is the starting point for tours to see the Grizzlies at Knight Inlet, on the mainland.

At almost $300 per person, this tour is not inexpensive, by a long shot, but all agree the day trip to see lots of wildlife, perhaps a whale or more, dolphins and bald eagles well worth the cost!
