Where to Stay ~ Find Hotels Accommodation

Once you've booked your flight, where you are going to stay is the next item to add to your itinerary.

If you've booked an all-inclusive holiday, or are planning to, then you've got a place to stay. But even so, you can still read reviews and get more information so you know what to expect from your resort hotel.

Hotel Resort Booking: I also found and booked hotels using this hotel booking site (see below) to book places to stay, most recently in Sydney, Australia at The Pensione Hotel Sydney, and the Airport Inn, as well as the Blue Mountains town of Leura and the Marina Resort in Port Stephens NSW.

Travel Planning : Most hotel bookings are not billed until you actually show up at the hotel front desk and most are refundable within 48 hours of the check-in date.

I found this a handy feature as I had to amend my orignal bookings to add or subtract dates as needed. Do be sure to check for any terms or deposits and when they apply.

In high season, especially in Australia when December January are the summer school holidays as well, popular destinations are often booked well in advance.

Minimum Stay: Some hotels and resorts have a minimum stay requirement, so it was simple to find alternate accommodations. Overall, I find this hotel finder site easy to use and I like that I get an immediate email confirmation. I also appreciated the map showing city location, to make sure you had the right place! The search engine remembers hotels you've looked at, so it's easy to go back and find it again.
